Our Glen Rock basement project focused on transforming a subterranean level into a vibrant, open-concept entertainment hub and family room. We began by clearing non-load-bearing walls to create a fluid layout, while simultaneously installing a professional French drain system to ensure long-term protection against water issues. To elevate the comfort of the space, a heated flooring system was integrated beneath brand-new tiling throughout the main area.
Functional upgrades were a priority, including a complete renovation of the laundry room featuring custom butcher block countertops, as well as a bathroom refresh with modern plumbing fixtures and flooring. We maximized every square inch of the footprint by converting an existing structural column into a custom drink station for the gaming area and repurposing the space beneath the stairs into a unique storage feature. Complete with custom railings and a dedicated personal gym space, this renovation demonstrates how thoughtful engineering can turn a utility area into a home’s premier destination.
