MBG has three owners, Lens Jean-Louis, Alexis and Jason Halpert come with diverse construction backgrounds and experiences.   

Combined, we have over 53 years of industry experience. Individually, we have successfully completed a wide range of projects, from Las Vegas, NV to Brooklyn, NY to Newark, NJ. 

We have broad backgrounds in renovations and ground up construction including works in residential homes, multi-family buildings and large-scale commercial projects 

Jason is a construction superintendent and seasoned builder with almost 3 decades of experience, who has been involved in some of the largest building projects across the United States and abroad. He has managed teams of designers, supervisors, and tradesmen to work towards the same goal, project completion. He has the knowledge and experience that every project starts with a schedule, but every successful project needs a leader to help guide the team and execute the plan. 

He worked his way up through the industry ranks starting out as a construction engineer to becoming general superintendent in charge of all field operations. He has acquired the knowledge of how to sequence and schedule work, providing the highest quality workmanship, and maintaining a safe project environment. His expertise extends beyond the physical construction process, encompassing project management, cost control and client collaboration. 

He's biggest passion in life is raising his three boys and watching them grow into young men. From coaching baseball, to helping with homework assignments, he always finds time to be with his sons.

Lens is a seasoned Field Superintendent with over a decade of experience overseeing construction projects. A proud Navy veteran, Lens has exemplified the core values of honor, courage, and commitment both in his military service and throughout his career in the construction industry.

His journey in construction began with a strong educational background, having studied Building Construction Technologies and Architectural Design at the Institute of Design and Construction and NYC College of Technology. This combination of academic knowledge and practical experience provided him with a solid foundation for his professional endeavors.

Lens's career highlights include his involvement in significant transformation projects, notably the renovation of the Brooklyn Municipal Building into a vibrant commercial location. Additionally, he played integral roles in the construction of major projects such as 420 Kent Avenue in Brooklyn, comprising luxurious waterfront towers, and a 42-story hotel in Times Square.

Throughout his career, Lens has demonstrated exceptional leadership, strategic planning, and a commitment to excellence, ensuring the successful completion of projects while upholding the highest standards of quality and safety. His collaborative approach and effective communication skills have earned him respect and admiration from colleagues and clients alike.

Beyond his professional achievements, Lens remains dedicated to giving back to his community and supporting initiatives that benefit veterans and promote education in the construction industry. He continues to inspire others with his unwavering integrity, strong work ethic, and passion for making a positive impact in everything he does.

Alexis is a results-driven Project Executive with 17 years of experience in successfully leading teams and delivering complex projects on time and within budget. She has a solid background in project management and consistently demonstrates exceptional organization and communication skills. She has a proven track record of overseeing projects from design development to closeout, often working hand in hand with design team professionals and clients to achieve their project goals. 

She started as an administrative assistant navigating her way to engineer, project manager then project executive throughout her tenure in the construction industry. This climb has led to acquiring the knowledge of how to maintain budgets, cost control management, buyout, and contract negotiations. Understanding field operations in addition to project management has helped in leading, building, and training successful project teams.  

Maintaining her work life balance is an essential function in life. She enjoys spending time with her husband and three sons going to sporting events, concerts, reading, and dancing in the kitchen.
